     Is texting changing the way we speak? Could it be true that technology is making many people less gramatically correct? The answer to those questions is yes. Most of the people who text abbrieveate ans misspell words freely. The people texting don't think about it much at the time, of course, because they don't think that this can effect them in any way. Unfortuanately, those people are mistaken.
      Much of todays society texts a lot; they text so much, in fact, that some of them make a habit of writing, and even speaking, as if they were still texting. This effects teenagers most extremely because they havn't learned all of the rules of grammer, like adults have. And they have been texting since they were much younger than most adults were when they began to text. Already, teenagers occasionally slip texting slang into essays for school, or other things they have to write. Within a matter of time, if texting is still this popualar and can change the way we speak this fast, the English language will be a horrible mess.  

      I don't think social networking should be allowed at school because it could be a big distraction. Students could misuse the prevelege and have it taken away. Cyberbullying would become a huge problem if students could have social networking at school.
      I know that some students might think that social networking should be allowed at school, as long as it's only used with the permission of a teacher, but I don't agree because I don't think there would ever be an occasion that a teacher would need a student to use a social networking site.
      In conclusion, social networking on campus would be a bad idea because students could misuse it or cyberbully.

      In the book Crispin, Bear had a good influence on Crispin. In my life, my little sister, Eleanor, has a positive influence on me. She is only four, but she is filled with so much love, happiness, generosity, and any other good thing you can think of that she inspires me to be a better person. 
      Although she is nothing like Bear, of whom showed Crispin the world and taught him useful things, Eleanor is a very good influence on me.
